Moving away from the feel of a typical city residence, Duzê takes inspiration from the laid-back, comfort vibe of the Hampton homes, embracing a light and airy palette, generous proportions, and a minimalist arrangement
Located just three kilometers (3 kms) from Vung Tau city, the Oculus Penthouse has a unique visual asset unliked any others. It offers an stunning 180-degree view, overlooking the glittering cityscape, an long beach coastline, and a scenic golf course directly below. This breathtaking perspective is enhanced by the unique, dome-shaped architecture of the building. Inside, a floor-to-ceiling glass facade turns every corner of the duplex penthouse into a dynamic vantage point.
When viewed from the city, this duplex penthouse glows like an incandescent lantern—its luminous presence symbolically transforming it into a beacon for the region. Here, architecture and location converge to elevate the overall living experience, giving this penthouse a distinct, soulful identity.
Embracing the penthouse’s intrinsic visual assets, Duzê followed the building’s oculus structure as the guiding design language. The studio approached the project with the belief that any design addition should be minimal, yet deliver maximal impact to the soul of the space.
Duzê collaborated with Hoang Tam Consultant, who served as lead architect for the project. A stunning glass-and-metal spiral staircase serves both as a functional element and striking design focal point. An outdoor jacuzzi pool mirrors the building's organic form, creating a seamless connection with its architecture.
Meant to serve as a luxurious vacation home, however, Duzê shifted to cultivate cultivate a more relaxed aesthetic, moving away from a typical city residence. We take inspiration from the laid-back, comfort vibe of the Hampton homes, embracing a light and airy palette, generous proportions, and a minimalist arrangement.
The space is further enhanced by an expansive suspended lighting installation comprising 186 glass globes, adding an enchanting star-like ambiance to the interior atmosphere.
